Governance
The Society is governed by a Council of 8 members who are the Executive members of the Society. The Council members are elected biennially by the Annual General Meeting. The Council is chaired by the President who is elected for a two year term. The Council is responsible for the management of the Society.

Geologist Ngángá Kuria is a Registered Geologist. He has served GSK for more than 7 years in different positions.

Mr. Alex James Nyandigisi
Geol. Nyandigisi is registered Kenyan Geologist and the secretary of the Geological Society of Kenya (GSK).
