Natural resources and the expertise of geologists play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of economic and sustainable development across the globe. These valuable assets contribute to various aspects of human life and well-being, influencing industries, infrastructure, and environmental stewardship. Understanding the significance of natural resources and the role of geologists provides a foundation for informed decision-making and responsible resource management. The Geological Society of Kenya in Collaboration with the Geologists registration board will hold the 3rd edition of Geo-East African Conference and Expo (GEOEACE 2024) on the 21st – 23rd February 2024 at Panari Sky Centre. The theme of the Conference is “Beyond 2030: East Africa’s Geo-Resources Portfolio for Economic Development and Energy Transitions”.
