Call for nominations for Governing Council members
Would you like to contribute to the Society’s work as a member of the Governing Council?
Nominations are sought for new Governing Council members at the Annual General Meeting on 31st March 2023. The Governing Council is comprised of 8 members who are accountable for the sound governance of the Society. The members of the Governing Council play an important role in the delivery of the Society’s Strategy, Mission, Purpose and Values. Candidacy for election to the Governing Council is open to any Professional or Graduate member who meets the requirements as outlined in the GSK constitution 2021. It is important that the membership of Governing Council reflects our diverse community. The following office bearers who shall constitute the Governing Council are elected biennially by the members of the Society by means of a popular ballot:
- The President
- The Vice President
- The Secretary
- The Vice Secretary
- The Treasurer
- Vice Treasurer
- Two Council Members (one of whom shall have at least twenty years’ experience standing.)
