The Geological Society of Kenya, at its 52nd AGM held on 27th March 2026 at The Semara Hotel, Machakos, reported strong growth and global impact, highlighted by the successful hosting of CAG30 2025 and strengthened partnerships with government and international bodies, as well as continued advocacy for key legislative reforms.

Membership rose to 628, with ongoing focus on professional development, governance, and operational progress. New members were admitted, Prof. Beneah Odhiambo received Life Membership, and leadership reaffirmed commitment to advancing the geoscience sector for sustainable development.
